In August’s newsletter, Tobacco Free Communities | Delaware, Otsego & Schoharie (TFC-DOS) announces the availability of new StatShots from the New York State Department of Health on 2018 adulting smoking rates, which shows a decrease in smoking rates in two of DOS’s counties and an increase in one. TFC-DOS also mentions a local Schoharie Country resident speaking at a board meeting regarding the county’s smoke-free outdoor policy, and also has an article on how we can protect the health of our local communities during the new college season.
